About Kitty Pandya
Tony’s Chocolonely has spent the past 20 years proving that great‑tasting chocolate can go hand in hand with ending exploitation in West African cocoa farming. From this mission, Tony’s Open Chain was created to drive collaboration in cocoa sourcing, based on the belief that cooperation is the strongest form of competition.
Tony’s Open Chain offers a pre‑competitive, business‑to‑business ethical sourcing model, supporting companies – known as Mission Allies – to source cocoa responsibly. Over the past year, volumes have grown by more than 50%, with over 20 companies now sourcing cocoa from the same farmers and according to the same five Sourcing Principles used by Tony’s Chocolonely.
Kitty is Partnerships Manager at Tony’s Open Chain, where she manages around 70% of current client partnerships, including UK & Ireland brands such as Waitrose, ALDI and Pip & Nut. She also works to onboard new brands and retailers, accelerating impact for West African cocoa farmers. Prior to joining Tony’s Open Chain, Kitty spent five and a half years at innocent drinks, working in commercial roles across the UK & Ireland before moving to Amsterdam to lead innocent’s retail business in the Netherlands.
